Stockyards
Location: Bozeman, MT - Story Mill

Some good friends of mine used to live in a farmhouse near the stockyards. It was always fun to be over there when the stock sale was going on. Lots of ranchers from all over the area came to town, and there was always a good breakfast at the cafe. And of course, there was the the very loud intercom system that could be heard for miles, even at my house on North Plum.....
"NUMBER 22 IN THE HOLE!, NUMBER 23 IN THE HOLE!.......
I heard that stockyards recently sold, and the inevitable condos will probably soon appear, so I figured I better get a good historical shot.....It just so happens, that this location was also one of my favorite places to sit and relax and watch a sunset or two over the years.
