It was one of those amazing summer sunsets in the Gallatin Valley. I had been watching the moon cycle in hopes of capturing the moon rising at the same time as the sunset. I found a great spot on East River Road, and waited..... Captured with over 20 overlapped 35mm images, 15 second exposures and about a week of process time. Shot in July of 2003.
