* About the Impressions series: I've always admired the minimalists, the abstractionists and the surrealists. While spending most of my time in a world of photo realism, I immensely enjoy getting back to the simple task of making color and images if only for the sake of the process.
Recently I started an "impressions" series that is a continuing exploration into color, tone and form. There is no computer manipulation in shooting or processing the images. Just intensional camera movement combined with long exposures and on lens filters. This process creates a dreamlike atmosphere with unique color, form and patterns.
