Lost Lake, located in the Shonkin sag, an old Missouri River flow & and waterfall from the last ice age. A look over the 200 to 300 ft. tall cliffs on the northern face of Lost Lake between Shonkin and Geraldine, Montana. Previously, this was the precipice of a waterfall that would have been about the size of Niagara Falls. The Highwood Mountains are seen in the distance.
Lost Lake is on private property on a working cattle ranch.
