View from the top of the ancient waterfall from Lost Lake, located in the Shonkin sag, an old Missouri River flow & and waterfall from the last ice age. Lool over the 200 to 300 ft. tall cliffs on the northern face of Lost Lake between Shonkin and Geraldine, Montana. Previously, this was the precipice of a waterfall that would have been about the size of Niagara Falls. The Highwood Mountains are seen in the distance.
Lost Lake is on private property on a working cattle ranch.
